You’ve chosen an interesting mix of images that work well. The steampunk figure works well with the shapes of the bridge. I’d be tempted to flip the bridge behind the figure to cover the white marks on the brickwork. It would be interesting to see the bridge in the warm brick colour tones as they might blend better with the figure.
I like the idea, and the receding arches gives a ‘time tunnel’ effect which fits in with the “steam punk engineer”. Not sure about the placement of the engineer, maybe he’s too much to the left, but I agree that the brickwork across the bottom distracts and that the other brickwork should have a bot of colour.
I like the idea just crop the wall off at the front.

I like the idea but found the engineer tight to the left hand side , needs a little more space. Would also remove the wall in the foreground.
