MASTER OF PRINT 6

The Master of Print year six, it’s always interesting to see the 60 prints that have been chosen to be the in this exhibition. The SRGB Photo Group are a print based group, the question we asked was  “What do we expect a MOP print to be ?” No only a top image but well printed on the right paper.  Many members of the group have previously entered the MOP so understood the importance of the rules and what was expected.

,The next question ” Did the print meet the requirements of what we consider to be the rules? ”  If not it was consigned to Room 101.  Did any get there?

The group enjoy the discussion and seeing a selection for Master of Print 6 and are looking forward to seeing Year 7.

The Master of Print is a print only exhibition run by the PAGB. The prints are  submitted unmounted and only mounted after selection by one of the sponsors.

The Exhibition has 60 selected prints and awards in each of the three sections. The Prints are shown at various venues around the country.

The Master of Print is a difficult challenge and a special moment when you get one accepted or awarded. Ride a White Horse by Kath Firth was accepted in year six.
