The members night for May, we were joined by Andy Marland for his second talk at SRGB Photo Group,. for which he created a Print Talk for us from his exhibition work. The Title of the talk was The Industrial Tourist a personal industrial story, a view from the north. .  He describes his photography as an unsophisticated fusion of black and white photography, mechanical engineering and landscape photography. 

An evening of urban exploration in print. We joined him on his walks and travels finding the history of the past from fields of forgotten farm machinery to derelict  mills, mines and factories  of Lancashire and Yorkshire. Later  to share  photograph of his own personal industrial story.  

Andy is a  great visual story teller, sharing his  own experiences while photographing these locations. A talk the group would recommend.
